The Dell Rapids St Mary Cardinal cross country team will send three runners to the state meet after their performance at the Region 2B Cross Country meet in Colman on Wednesday, October 12th. Elizabeth Vogel, Madison Reiff, and Cami Wolles all had top 20 finishes to qualify for state.
The girls team finished fourth as a team with 34 points.

Vogel placed sixth with a time of 21:04.28. Reiff was 16th with a time of 21:49.58. Wolles placed 18th in a time of 21:56.75. Lucy Vargas (23rd) had a time of 22:45.09, and Rebecca Heinemann (26th) finished with a time of 22:50.28.
Camden Tebay (24th) had a time of 24:34.83. Matthew Heinemann (26th) finished in 21:20.15, and Gabe Nelson (38th) finished in 24:19.61.
Vogel, Reiff, and Wolles will run in the 2022 South Dakota Class B Cross Country Meet in Huron on Saturday, October 22nd.
