The St Mary’s Cardinal cross country teams competed in the Dakota Valley Conference cross country meet held in Colman on Wednesday, October 8th. The boys captured their first conference team title since 2019 finishing with 19 points. The girls team finished second with 15 points, just three points behind Deubrook.
Cami Wolles finished fifth with a time of 21:42. Paige Deuter took sixth with a time of 21:51. Adalyn Fiegen placed seventh and finished in 22:13. Lucy Vargas was 10th in a time of 22:59.
Cooper Libis had a fifth place finish in 18:55. Matthew Heinemann finished seventh with a time of 19:32. Logan Robinson placed 13th with a time of 20:34. Kade Lutt (23rd) had a time of 22:32. Bronc Geraets (27th) finished in 23:12, and Lukas Gaul (31st) completed in 24:58.
