The 2025 track season for the St Mary Cardinals came to an end at the 2025 South Dakota State B Track and Field Meet on Thursday, May 29th through Saturday, May 31st.
Maddyn LeBrun brought home fourth place in the javelin with a throw of 121’3″ and ninth in the discus at 112’1″. Layla Hanson was 21st in the long jump with a jump of 15’1″.
Jaxon Baumberger finished fourth in the high jump with a leap of 6’0″. The 4x100m relay team of Thomas LaVoy, Lincoln LeBrun, Jake Heinitz, and Logan Bauer finished fifth in :44.94. The 4x400m relay team of LaVoy, Baumberger, Heinitz, and Bauer took sixth in a time of 3:36.64. The 4x800m relay team of Jacob Flemmer, Matt Heinemann, Kade Lutt, and Baumberger finished 11th in 8:48.27. The sprint medley relay team of LeBrun, Heinitz, LaVoy, and Flemmer placed 22nd in 4:00.03.
