Rocky Run Golf Course hosted the Region 3B girls and boys meet on Thursday, May 22nd. The St Mary Cardinal girls won the region title with a team score of 267. The boys team placed fourth, just one shot back of qualifying the whole team, with a 259.
Isabella McNaughton placed second with a round of 88. Allie Hansen also finished with an 88 and placed third. Sophie McNaughton took fifth with a round of 91. Carley Roiger was seventh overall with a round of 95.
Trevon Beckman took seventh with a round of 81 to qualify for state. Paxton Beckman placed 11th, and also qualified for state, with a round of 83. Jonah McNaughton (36th) finished with a round of 95.
Both the girls and boys state tournament will be held in Watertown on Monday, June 2nd and Tuesday, June 3rd. The girls will play at Prairie Winds Golf Course. The boys will plat at Cattail Crossing Golf Course.
