The St Mary Cardinal track team traveled to Salem for the Danielson Relays on Tuesday, April 29th. The girls team finished fourth out of 14 teams with 52 points. The boys placed 10th with 27 points.
Madala Hanson placed second in the 800m run with a time of 2:27.43 and third in the 100m dash at :13.46. Megan Geraets and Kate Liebl tied for second in the high jump at 4’6″. Maddyn LeBrun was third in the discus with a throw of 110’7″. Layla Hanson had a third-place finish in the long jump at 15’2″.
Logan Bauer took third in the 200m dash with a time of :23.36 and fourth in the 100m dash in :11.86. The 4x100m relay team of Thomas LaVoy, Lincoln LeBrun, Bauer, and Jake Heinitz placed second in :45.27. Jaxon Baumberger took third in the high jump with a jump of 6’0″.
