The St Mary Cardinal Track team took part in the Jesse James Track Meet in Garretson on Saturday, April 12th.
Maddyn LeBrun won the discus with a throw of 108’5″ and placed second in the javelin at 105’7″. Luce Vargas claimed second in the 3200m run in 15:16.96. Reagan Griffin was third in the triple jump with a jump of 30’3.5″ and fifth in the high jump at 4’4″. Megan Geraets took fourth in the high jump also at 4’4″.
Jaxon Baumberger won the triple jump with a jump of 37’7″ and placed second in the high jump at 5’11”. The 4x200m relay team of Thomas LaVoy, Jake Heinitz, Baumberger, and Logan Bauer placed second in 1:37.49. Jacob Flemmer was third in the 800m run in a time of 2:16.89. Josh Liebl finished third in the long jump at 18’1.5″ and placed fifth in the 300m hurdles in :49.77. Jake Kopsas took fourth in the high jump with a leap of 5’6″. Bauer was fifth in the 100m days with a time of :11.46.
