LeBrun Hits Milestone in Cardinal Win at Arlington

On a night that already saw Madala Hanson hit 1,000 career points, Maverick LeBrun also hit 1,000 career points late in the first quarter in St Mary’s win in Arlington on Monday, February 10th.  St Mary rolled to an 81-38 victory.

The offense was firing on all cylinders for St Mary all night long.  They built a 26-12 lead at the end of the first quarter.  St Mary added another 25 points in the second quarter and led 51-23 at halftime.  They hit the 30-point lead early in the third quarter to trigger the running clock.  St Mary finished the third quarter with a 66-32 advantage.

LeBrun finished with 25 points and 10 rebounds.  Trevon Beckman also had a double-double with 23 points, 11 rebounds, five assists, and five steals.  Jake Kopsas also had double figures with 11 points and nine rebounds.  Peyton Lamb added seven points.
