Both the girls and boys St Mary Cardinal full cross country teams will be running at the state meet after placing in the top 3 of the Region 2B meet on Wednesday, October 16th. The girls team finished with 38 points, one point better than fourth-place Centerville. The boys team finished with 31 points.
Cami Wolles placed 13th with a time of 22:07.48. Elizabeth Vogel took 14th with a time of 22:12.54. Lucy Vargas was 17th in 23:00.74. Pagie Deuter finished 23rd with a time of 23:47.61, and Madison Reiff was 30th with a time of 24:56.07.
Matthew Heinemann was seventh with a time of 18:54.53. Cooper Libis took ninth in 18:56.26. Camden Tebay finished 16th in 19:04.29, and Levi Gaul placed 32nd with a time of 20:40.16.
The state meet will be held at Hart Ranch in Rapid City on Saturday, October 26th.
