The Dell Rapids St Mary Cardinal cross country team took part in the Arlington Invitational on Monday, September 16th. The girls placed third overall with 36 points. The boys team was fourth in a close team battle with 28 points. The Flandreau Indian School won the boys title with 13 points. Flandreau was second with 20 points, and Arlington was third with 24 points.
Elizabeth Vogel took seventh with a time of 22:25.74. Madison Reiff placed 12th with a time of 22:47.32. Cami Wolles (19th) finished in a time of 23:45.98. Lucy Vargas (22nd) completed in 24:18.80, and Paige Deuter (25th) had a time of 24:59.58.
Matthew Heinemann had a ninth place finish with a time of 19:44.85. Camden Tebay placed 11th in 20:04.81. Levi Gaul (27th) completed in 22:21.16.
