The Dell Rapids St Mary Cardinal cross country team competed in the Jesse James Invite in Garreston on Tuesday, September 10th. The girls team finished second with 32 points, just eight points behind Arlington.
The girls team had two top 5 individual finishers. Elizabeth Vogel finished third in a time of 22:22.33. Cami Wolles was fourth with a time of 22:28.82. Madison Reiff placed 11th with a time of 22:53.77. Paige Deuter (24th) had a time of 24:55.18, and Lucy Vargas (25th) finished in 24:59.81.
Cooper Libis placed 19th with a time of 20:06.48. Matthew Heinemann (34th) had a time of 21:01.18, and Levi Gaul (54th) finished in 23:45.25.
