The Dell Rapids St Mary Cardinal golf team finished their season at the state tournaments in Brookings on Monday, June 3rd and Tuesday, June 4th. The girls tournament was held at Edgebrook Golf Course, while the boys tournament was held at Brookings Country Club.
The girls team finished ninth overall with a team score of 574. Allie Hansen tied for 24th with a two-day score of 186 (98, 88). Carley Roiger placed 36th with a score of 191 (92, 99). Brianna Weiland tied for 50th with a 197 (102, 95).
For the boys team, Trevon Beckman tied for 18th place with an opening-round 80 and second day score of 82 for a 162 total. Owen Vargas tied for 48th with a two-day score of 170, finishing with an 85 both days.
