The Dell Rapids St Mary Cardinal golf teams competed in the Dakota Valley Conference meet in Colman on Monday, May 6th. The girls team finished second, just six shots behind first place Estelline/Hendricks. The Cardinals had a total of 299. The boys team finished sixth with a total of 290. St Mary had four golfers place in the top 10 individually.
The girls team had three place in the top 10. Carley Roiger finished third with a round of 99. Allie Hansen also had a 99 and placed fourth. Rachel Heinneman was sixth with a round of 101. Brianna Weiland (21st) had a round of 125.
Trevon Beckman had a fourth place finish with a round of 86. Owen Vargas (21st) had a 98. Walker Warwick (26th) finished with a 106. Trimmier Hanson (30th) had a round of 109.
