The Dell Rapids St Mary Cardinal track team traveled to Salem for the Danielsen Relays at McCook Central High School on Tuesday, April 23rd.
Jaycee Tebay won the discus, placed fourth in the javelin, and finished sixth in the shot put. Megan Geraets was second in the high jump. Elizabeth Vogel finished third in the 3200m run and fifth in the 1600m run. Maddyn LeBrun placed third in the javelin and fifth in the discus. Brianna Griffin took fifth in the 100m dash. Lucy Vargas took sixth ini the 3200m run. Reagan Griffin was sixth in the high jump and seventh in the triple jump. Jenna Miller placed seventh in the 8000m run. The 4x800m relay team of Cami Wolles, Vogel, Vargas, and Miller finished first. The 4x400m relay team placed fourth. The 4x200m relay team finished fifth, and the 4x100m relay team took seventh.
Lucas Flemmer had wins in the 100m dash, 200m dash, and 400m dash. Jaxon Baumberger placed second in the high jump. Camden Tebay was fourth in the 3200m run and sixth in the 1600m run. Matt Heinemann placed seventh in the 3200m run. Gavin Pica took seventh in the discus. The 4x200m relay team finished fifth, and the 4x400m relay team placed seventh.
