The Dell Rapids St Mary Cardinal golf team hosted the Region 2B meet at Rocky Run Golf Course on Tuesday, May 23rd. Three Cardinal golfers qualified for the state tournament. The girls team finished fifth with a team score of 327. The boys team placed seventh with a score of 278.
Trevon Beckman had a seventh place finish with a round of 82. Owen Vargas also qualified for state with a round of 93. Carley Roiger placed 13th and will go to state after a round of 103.
Rachel Heinemann had a round of 109. Allie Hansen finished with a 115, and Rebecca Heinemann had a 122. Camden Gilbert had a round of 103. Walker Warwick finished with a 117.
