Both the girls and boys Beresford/Alcester-Hudson Ram wrestling teams took part in the Les Tlustos Invite in Brookings on Saturday, February 1st. The girls team finished with 33 points, which was good enough for 11th place. The boys team finished 13th with 65 points.
Reese Olson took the top spot in her weight class with three wins, all by a pin. Lillie Boden finished seventh with a 2-2 record. Aubrey Braaten and Cheyenne Christie both finished 0-2 on the day.
Owen Serck won the 106-pound class with a 3-0 record. Dexton Miller (132) took third with a 4-1 record on the day. Bennett Farley (113) placed fourth with a 2-2 record. Sebastian Castillo (120) finished 1-2. Landry Sims (138), Corbin Buum (165), Isaac Boden (175), and Connor Neumayr (285) all finished 0-2.
