Four State Qualifiers for Ram Wrestling, Two of Them Region Champs

The Beresford/Alcester-Hudson Ram boys wrestling team competed in the Region 2A tournament in Brandon on Friday, February 21st.  The Rams finished seventh has as a team with 89.5 points.  Beresford/Alcester-Hudson had two region champions and qualified four wrestlers for state.

Owen Serck won the 106-pound division with a 3-0 record.  Dexton Miller took the top spot in the 132-pound class with a 3-0 record.  Bennett Farley (113) finished third with a 3-1 record.  Sebastian Casstillo (120) took fourth with a 2-2 record.

Caden Schurch (157) had a sixth-place finish with a 1-3 record.  Isaac Boden (175) took sixth with a 1-3 record.  Connor Neumayr (285) also finished sixth with an 0-3 record.  Ben Seeley (126), Landry Sims (138), Kanin Klentz (150), and Corbin Buum (165) all had an 0-2 record.
