Rams Girls and Boys Wrestling Teams Compete in Weekend Tournament

Both the Beresford/Alcester-Hudson Ram girls and boys wrestling teams were in action on Saturday, January.

The girls team was in Brandon for the Dan Pansch Girls Invitational.  The Rams finished seventh overall with 37.5 points.

Reese Olson took second with a 3-1 record.  Lillie Boden placed fourth with a 2-2 record.  Aubrey Braaten finished sixth with a 1-3 record.  Cheyenne Christie had one win in the tournament.  Zara Himanga finished 0-2 on the day.

The boys team took part in the Jesse James Invitational in Garretson.  The Rams finished third with 187.5 points.

Owen Serck won the 106-pound division with a 3-0 record.  Bennett Farley finished first in the 113-pound class with a 3-0 record.  Dexton Miller won the 132-pound division with a 3-0 record.  Sebastian Castillo placed second in the 113-pound class with a 2-1 record.

Landry Sims (138) took third place finishing with a 3-1 record.  Kanin Klentz (144) was also third with a 4-1 record.  Karzen Sommervold (150) placed third with a 4-1 record.  Ben Seeley (126) finished fourth with a 3-2 record.  Caden Schurch (157) took fourth with a 3-2 record.  Liam Moumy (106) placed sixth with a 2-3 record. Corbin Buum (165) was sixth with a 2-3 record.

Connor Neumayr (285) had one win on the day.  Tobey Rozeboom (138), James Wirth (175), Isaac Boden (175), and Kooper Joseph (285) all finished 0-2.
