The Beresford/Alcester-Hudson Rams wrestling boys and girls teams took part in the 2024 Sioux Falls Roosevelt Rider Invitational on Saturday, December 7th. The girls team placed fifth with 40 team points. The boys team finished sixth with 122 team points.
Reese Olson won her division with three pins. Cheyenne Christie finished fourth with an 0-3 record. Lillie Boden was fifth with a 2-2 record on the day. Aubrey Braaten and Zara Himanga both finished 0-2 in the tournament.
Tate Lyle placed second in the 138-pound division with a 3-1 record. Owen Serck was second in the 113-pound division with a 2-1 record. Dexton Miller was third in the 132-pound class with a 3-1 record. Caden Schurch (157-pound) finished fourth with a 4-2 record. Kanin Klentz (144-pound) was also fourth with a 3-2 record. Bennett Farley (120-pound) took fifth with a 3-2 record. Sebastian Castillo (113-pound) was fifth with a 2-2 record. Connor Neumayr finished 1-2 on the day. Ben Seeley, Landry Sims, Karzen Sommervol, and Corbin Buum all finished 0-2 on the day.
