Post 72 CBAH Jr Legion played two games at the Yankton Tournament on Friday, June 14th. CBAH dropped games to Yankton Blacksox 16U and Sioux Falls East.
Yankton Blacksox 6, CBAH 1
CBAH got the first run of the game in the top of the first, but Yankton scored the next six in their win. Yankton tied the game in the bottom of the third and then broke the tie with a five-run bottom of the sixth to secure the win.
Evan Haak had a single and an RBI. Ashton Oberle had the only other hit in the game. Haak pitched three innings and allowed a run, which was unearned, on a hit and three walks with three strikeouts. Oberle pitched three innings and allowed three earned runs on four hits and two walks. Aiden Bobzin pitched an inning and allowed two earned runs on a hit with two strikeouts.
Sioux Falls East 7, CBAH 4
Sioux Falls East scored the first seven runs of the game and then held off CBAH for the win. East scored three in the first and two in the second for an early 5-0 advantage. They scored two more times in the top of the fourth. CBAH got all four of their runs in the bottom of the sixth.
Jax Fickbohm had a hit and an RBI. Haak and Miles Eide both had two singles each. Oberle and Bobzin each added a single. Eide pitched three innings and allowed a hit and three walks with one strikeout. Tucker Martz pitched two innings and allowed five runs, four earned, on two hits and three walks with a strikeout. Jacob Cole pitched an inning and allowed two earned runs on three hits. Tommy Walth threw an inning and walked three with three strikeouts.
