Black Sox Shut out by Bon Homme

The Beresford/Alcester-Hudson Black Sox were shut out at home by Bon Homme on Thursday, May 9th by a score of 10-0.

Bon Homme got two runs in the top of the first and three in the top of the third for a 5-0 lead.  They continued to add to their lead in the latter innings.  Three runs were scored in the fifth, one in the sixth, and one more in the top of the seventh.

Ethan Bovill had a double.  Robert Watkins and Dominic Van Egdom each had a single as the only other hits in the game for the Black Sox.  Ashton Oberle pitched three innings and allowed five runs, but just one earned, on seven hits and a walk with four strikeouts.  Bovill pitched four innings and allowed five runs, three earned, on five hits and a walk with three strikeouts.
