Beresford/Alcester-Hudson Baseball Suffers Home Loss

The Beresford/Alcester-Hudson baseball team suffered their first loss of the season on Friday, April 5th.  The Black Sox hosted Parkston, and Parkston scored in every inning in a 16-1 win.

Parkston scored two times in the top of the first and three in the top of the second to go ahead 5-0.  The Black Sox got their lone run in the bottom of the second inning.  Parkston then went on to score six more runs in the top of the third inning and five in the top of the fourth.

Ethan Bovill finished with two singles.  Jax Fickbohm had a single and an RBI.  Joseph Anderson and Robert Watkins both had one single each.  Kasen Voss pitched 2 2/3 innings and allowed nine runs, six earned, on seven hits and two walks with three strikeouts.  Fickbohm allowed two unearned runs with a walk.  Ashton Oberle pitched 1/3 of an inning allowing just one hit.  Anderson threw one inning and gave up five earned runs on three hits and five walks with one strikeout.
