The Beresford/Alcester-Hudson wrestling team finished sixth at the Region 2A Wrestling Tournament in Brandon on Saturday, February 17th. The team finished with a total of 108.5 points. Brandon Valley finished first with 235.0 points. Harrisburg (219.5) was second followed by Sioux Falls Lincoln (181.0).
Owen Serck finished second in the 106-pound division with a 2-1 record. Robert Watkins was second in the 157-pound division with a 2-1 record. Caden Schurch was third in the 144-pound class with a 3-1 record. Dexton Miller took fourth in the 120-pound class with a 2-2 record. Tate Lyle was also fourth in the 126-pound division with a 2-2 record.
Bennett Farley (113) was fifth with a 2-2 record. Taten Twedt (190) took fifth with a 2-2 record. Isaac Boden (165) was sixth with a 1-3 record. Evan Brown (175) also placed sixth with a 1-3 record. Connor Neumayr (285) finished sixth with a 1-3 record. Ben Seeley (132) and Jensen Christensen (150) also took part in the tournament.
