The Beresford Watchdogs hosted the Tea Titans in volleyball action on Tuesday, October 10th. The Titans took the match in straight sets by scores of 25-23, 25-10, and 25-13.
The Watchdogs got out to a quick 5-2 lead to start the first set. They continued to hold a three-point lead at 10-7, but the Titans rallied to tie the score 10-10. They continued their rally to a 20-15 lead. Beresford battled back and tied the score 23-23, but Tea scored the final two points for a 25-23 win.
The Titans used that momentum to start the second set to build a 9-1 lead. They continued rolling to scores of 14-4 and 20-8 before winning 25-10. Tea took a 6-3 lead to start the third set. The Watchdogs went on a 4-1 run to tie the set 7-7. Tea, however, responded with a 6-1 run for a 13-8 lead and never trailed again. They extended the lead to 17-10 and kept rolling to a 25-13 win.
