The Beresford Watchdog volleyball team played in the Big East Conference Tournament held Thursday, September 7th and Saturday, September 9th.
Beresford played two matches on Thursday in Baltic. They faced the Baltic Bulldogs and the Garretson Blue Dragons. In their first match against Baltic, the Watchdogs fell in straight sets by scores of 25-11, 25-11, and 25-14. In the second match, Beresford took Garretson to five sets, but the Blue Dragons won the match by scores of 19-25, 25-23, 25-11, 22-25, and 15-6.
The Watchdogs earned their first win of the season against the Parker Pheasants on Saturday in their final match of the Big East Conference Tournament. Beresford won the first set in extra time 27-25. They then won the next two sets by exact same scores of 25-20 and 25-20.
