The Beresford/Alcester-Hudson 14U Black Sox baseball team took a 12-2 home win over Elk Point-Jefferson on Wednesday, June 21st.
Elk Point-Jefferson scored the first two runs of the game right away in the top of the first inning. They held BAH scoreless in the bottom of the inning, but the Black Sox offense got going in the second. The Black Sox scored seven times in the second inning, three in the third, and then one each in the fourth and fifth innings to end the game on the 10-run rule.
Cameron Mullinix had two hits and an RBI. Evan Haak had a double and three RBIs. Kasen Voss finished with a single and an RBI. Ashton Oberle, Owen Serck, and Payden Hoffman all had an RBI. Voss pitched all five innings and allowed two earned runs on four hits and five walks with four strikeouts.
