The Beresford Watchdogs hosted the Beresford Lions Club Invite on Tuesday, May 2nd. The boys team finished third with 106 points. The girls team had a fifth place finish with 42.25 points.
Jade Rhody won the high jump. The sprint medley relay team of Rachel Zanter, Kylie Mockler, Eva Schaap, and Ella Merriman finished second. Haleigh Stene took third in the high jump. The 4x400m relay team of Schaap, Rhody, Kendra Ellis, and Cassandra Twedt finished fourth. The 4x800m relay team of Merriman, Annie Farley, Lillie Boden, and Brynn Voss also placed fourth.
Andrew Atwood won the 800m run. Joseph Sharpe won the discus. Zach Boden took first in the javelin. The 4x800m relay team of Atwood, Peyton Fridrich, Brody Andrews, and Jack Stenen placed first. Fridrich was second in the 100m dash and second in the triple jump. Andrews was third in the 200m dash and fourth in the 400m dash. Landon Schurch was third in the shot put and fourth in the discus. The sprint medley relay team of Jax Fickbohm, Chase Comp, Michael Shegrud, and Brady Aasheim finished third.
