Beresford Wins Back-and-Forth Match Against Flandreau

The Beresford Watchdog volleyball team won a back-and-forth road match at the Flandreau Fliers on Tuesday, October 4th.  The Watchdogs won the match in five sets.

Beresford opened the match with a close 25-21 opening set win.  Flandreau returned with a 25-19 win in the second set to even the match.  The Watchdogs took the advantage with a win in the third set 25-17.  The Fliers were able to force a fifth set after winning a close fourth set by just two points, 25-23.  Beresford was able to get momentum in the fifth set and won 15-6 to win the match.

Maddie Erickson finished with seven kills and four blocks.  Megan DeLay had six kills and two ace serves.  Rachel Zanter had seven digs.  Autumn Namminga added four digs and two ace serves.  Irelyn Fickbohm also had four blocks.  Larissa Tiedeman had 11 set assists, and Addy Wills had six.
