Beresford Drops Last Two Matches

The Beresford Watchdogs have lost their last two matches of the season.  Beresford traveled to Lennox on Tuesday, September 27th and then hosted Chester on Thursday, September 29th.

Lennox 3, Beresford 1

The Orioles took a close, four-set match against Beresford on Tuesday.  The first set went extra points right away, but Lennox was able to get the win 26-24.  The Watchdogs came back in the second set and cruised to a 25-15 victory.  The Orioles, however, rallied in the third set for a big 25-14 win.  The fourth set was another close one, coming down to two points.  Lennox won the set 25-23 to take the match.

Chester 0, Beresford 0

The Watchdogs returned home on Thursday and hosted the Chester Flyers.  The Flyers were able to take the match in straight sets by scores of 25-19, 25-12, and 25-10.

Rachel Zanter had a team-high seven kills.  Autumn Namminga and Mckayla Roelke each had five kills.  Maddie Erickson had four kills and two blocks.  Megan DeLay had three kills and two blocks.  Eva Schaap finished with three kills and a block, and Larissa Tiedeman finished with nine set assists.
