Season Ends for Bulldog Girls in Region 3A

The Baltic Bulldog girls had their 2025-2026 season come to an end in the opening round of the Region 3A Tournament on Tuesday, February 24th.  The Bulldogs fell to the Flandreau Fliers 56-33 in Flandreau.

The Fliers started the game with an 11-0 run in the first four minutes and stayed in front the reset of the game.  They held a 14-2 advantage at the end of the quarter.  Flandreau outscored Baltic 20-10 in the second quarter for a 34-12 lead at halftime.  The Bulldogs did outscore Flandreau in the third quarter, but they were only able to cut into the lead by a point.  The Fliers led 43-22 going into the final quarter.

Baltic shot 31% (10-32) from the field overall, 25% (3-12) from three-point area, and 67% (10-15) from the free-throw line.  Flandreau finished the game shooting 43% (20-46) overall, 12% (2-17) on three-point shots, and 58% (14-24) from the free-throw line.

Meredith Larson had 13 points, five rebounds, and two steals.  Kate Bouman ended with eight points and two rebounds.  Harper Kortemeyer added five points, three rebounds, and two assists.  Sadey Holt finished with four points and four rebounds.
