The Baltic Bulldogs hosted the Dell Rapids Quarriers on Monday, February 2nd. The Quarriers went on a 17-0 run in the opening quarter and took the win 56-16.
The Bulldogs scored the first point of the game from the free-throw line, but Dell Rapids then went on a 17-0 run. The Quarriers led 17-4 at the end of the first quarter. Baltic was held to just two points in the second quarter, and Dell Rapids led 33-6 at halftime. The Bulldogs stayed close to Dell Rapids in the third quarter as the Quarriers had just a 10-8 scoring advantage. The Quarriers led 43-14 going into the fourth quarter.
Baltic finished the game shooting 17% (6-36) from the field overall, 15% (2-13) from three-point area, and 2-6 from the free-throw line. Dell Rapids was 46% (22-48) shooting overall, 27% (4-15) no three-point shots, and 47% (8-17) from the free-throw line.
Kaiya Lenderts finished with six points. Braylee Parmely had five points. Sadey Holt had two points with five rebounds.
