The Baltic Bulldog volleyball team took a trip to Western Christian High School in Hull, IA for the Kooima Varilek Classic on Saturday, October 11th. Baltic finished the day with a 2-2 record.
The first match of the day was against Bishop Heelan High School. The Bulldogs were able to win the match in straight sets by scores of 21-17 and 21-19. Baltic then faced the host team, Western Christian. Western Christian took the win in straight sets by scores of 21-18 and 21-12.
Baltic was able to bounce back in their next match. They met Central Lyon and earned a straight set win by scores of 21-18 and 21-18. The final match of the classic was against a South Dakota school, Sioux Falls O’Gorman. O’Gorman won in straight sets by scores of 25-14 and 25-18.
