Baltic Volleyball Cruises to Win in Flandreau

The Baltic Bulldog volleyball team cruised to a straight-set victory over the Flandreau Fliers in Flandreau on Thursday, September 18th.  The Bulldogs won by scores of 25-13, 25-14, and 25-10.

The opening set started with a 6-0 run by the Bulldogs.  They continued to lead by six at 8-2.  Flandreau cut the lead down to four points, 13-9, but the Bulldogs went on an 8-4 run to extend the lead to 21-13.  Baltic would score the final four points for the win.

The Bulldogs started the second set with a 4-1 lead and never trailed.  They held a four-point lead at 11-7 before making a run.  Baltic went on a 7-1 run to extend their lead to 18-8.  They would close out the set with a 25-14 win.

The third set started much closer with Baltic holding a 4-3 lead.  They pushed that lead to 10-6 and then scored the next four points to make the score 14-6.  Baltic was able to continue to extend the lead throughout the rest of the match.  They led 18-9 and 22-9 before winning 25-10.

The Bulldogs will host Elkton-Lake Benton on Tuesday, September 23rd.
