Regular Season Ends for Baltic Girls at Home

The Baltic Bulldog girls basketball team had their final regular season game at home on Friday, February 20th.  The Bulldogs hosted the St Mary’s Cardinals with the Cardinals getting the 57-27 win.

The Cardinals built a 15-8 lead by the end of the first quarter.  The Bulldogs got within five points, 19-14, with 4:15 to play in the second quarter.  The Cardinals finished the quarter on a 7-2 run to extend their lead to 26-16.  St Mary’s would hold Baltic to just 11 points in the second half while putting 31 points on the board.

Baltic shot 24% (10-42) overall from the field, 21% (6-28) on three-point shots, and 1-6 from the free-throw line.  St Mary was 48% (21-44) shooting overall, 24% (4-17) from three-point area, and 61% (11-18) from the free-throw line.

Meredith Larson ended with 12 points.  Harper Kortemeyer added five points, two rebounds, and two assists.  Kate Bouman had three points, five rebounds, and two assists.
