Bulldog Boys Get Back in Win Column with Big East Win

The Baltic Bulldog boys ended a two-game losing streak and earned a 63-35 Big East Conference win over the Chester Flyers at home on Thursday, January 15th.

The Bulldogs used a fast start in the opening quarter and never looked back.  They outscored the Flyers 21-5 in the first quarter.  That lead was extended to 39-13 by halftime.  The Bulldogs would end the third quarter with a 53-26 advantage.

Baltic shot 56% (25-45) from the field overall, 38% (9-24) on three-point attempts, and 4-5 from the free-throw line.  Chester was 28% (13-47) shooting from the field, 26% (7-27) from three-point area, and 2-3 from the free-throw line.

Three players finished in double figures.  Kellen Artz finished with 16 points, nine rebounds, and four assists.  Trevor Cuperus had 13 points and five rebounds.  Ben Erickson tallied 12 points, two rebounds, and three assists.  Cooper Garry added five points, three rebounds, and two assists.  Benjamin Berg and Brody Aday both had five points each as well.
