The Baltic Bulldog wrestling team will be young group again this year after starting the program last season. They had two girls make the state tournament last year, both of whom graduated last year.
“Being a young team once again this year, we just will keep chipping away the best we can. I am extremely proud of all the wrestlers and the hard work they put in and keeping putting in. This should be a fun season, and all wrestlers have high hopes,” said head coach Dwight Montgomery.
The boys team will have the lone senior this year, Connor Owens. Sophomore Justin Del Cid also returns for the boys team this year. The girls team will have two new wrestlers. Zoe McGuire (junior) and Alexis Kehn (freshman) are giving wrestling a try this year and have been picking up really quickly.
