The Baltic Bulldog football team had their last game of the 2025 season at home against the Groton Tigers on Friday, October 17th. The Tigers took the win 43-0.
Baltic hung with Groton throughout the first quarter. The Tigers got their first score with 3:04 in the first quarter on a one-yard run. The two-point conversion was good putting Groton ahead 8-0. Their first score of the second quarter came with 9:43 to go on an eight-yard pass to go ahead 14-0. They would score again with 4:02 to play in the second on a one-yard run. A made extra point extended the lead to 21-0. Groton got one more score right before half by finding the end zone on a 30-yard run with just :01 remaining. Another made extra point pushed the score to 28-0.
The Tigers got two more scores in the third quarter. With 7:24 left in the quarter, they had a 13-yard touchdown pass. The extra point made the score 35-0. The final score came with 3:55 to play in the third quarter on a three-yard touchdown run. The Tigers converted the two points for a 43-0 lead. Neither team would score in the final quarter.
Baltic’s season comes to an end with an 0-8 record.
