Bulldogs Fall in Homecoming Game to Seahawks

The Bridgewater-Emery/Ethan Seahawks spoiled the homecoming game for the Baltic Bulldogs on Friday, September 26th.  The Bulldogs fell 38-8 in the game.

The Seahawks opened the game with a 90-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.  They made the extra point to go ahead 7-0.  Baltic would respond seconds later.  Jackson Goehring scored on a 35-yard touchdown run with 11:15 to go in the quarter.  Dylan Runestad scored the two-point conversion to put the Bulldogs in front 8-7.  Baltic would remain in front 8-7 the rest of the quarter.

Bridgewater-Emery/Ethan went back in front early in the second quarter.  With 10:15 to play, they scored on a two-yard.  A made extra point put the Seahawks ahead 14-8.  They added another touchdown with just :10 to go in the half on a three-yard pass.  The Seahawks led 20-8 at halftime.

The score remained 20-8 until very late in the third quarter.  The Seahawks scored with :50 left on the clock on a five-yard run.  The two-point conversion was good, and the Seahawks led 28-8 going into the fourth quarter.

The defense for the Seahawks would add two points to the score.  They recorded a sack in the Bulldog end zone with 7:01 left in the game to make the score 30-8.  Bridgewater-Emery/Ethan would get one more touchdown on a six-yard run with 1:53 to play in the game.  They added a two-point conversion making the score 38-8.

Baltic will have their bye week on Friday, October 3rd.  They are back in action at McCook Central/Montrose on Friday, October 10th.
