The Baltic Bulldog volleyball earned two wins during the week in straight sets. They hosted the Beresford Watchdogs on Tuesday, September 2nd and won in straight sets by scores of 25-21, 25-13, and 25-18.
On Thursday, September 4th, the Bulldogs traveled to Garretson to play the Blue Dragons. The Bulldogs took the match in straight sets by scores of 25-18, 25-10, and 25-19. Baltic started the first set with a 3-0 run. They continued to hold a lead by two points at 8-6. Garretson pulled within a point, 11-10, but Baltic slowly pulled away. They extended the lead to 20-16 and then finished the set on a 5-2 run for a 25-18 score. After an early 6-3 lead in the second set, Baltic went on a 9-2 run to extend the lead to 15-5. They continued to cruise from there to the 25-10 win. The Bulldogs jumped out to a fast 13-3 start in the third set and never looked back. Garretson cut the lead to five points, 17-12, but that was as close as they would get.
