The Baltic Bulldog girls and boys golf teams took part in the Region 3B Tournament in Dell Rapids on Thursday, May 22nd. The girls team placed fourth, just missing qualifying the entire team by one stroke, with a score of 325. The boys team finished seventh with a score of 270.
Claire Berg placed sixth individually with a round of 94 and qualified for state. Haedyn Painter was 12th with a 108 and also qualified for state. Melody Dyce was 21st with a round of 123.
Grant Endahl placed 12th and qualified for state with a round of 84. Cooper Breyer also qualified for state by placing 25th with a 91. Gaige Bartling (38th) had a round of 95, and Kaden Rick (53rd) finished with a 108.
The state tournament for both the boys and girls will be held in Watertown on Monday, June 2nd and Tuesday, June 3rd. The girls will play at Prairie Winds Golf Course, and the boys will play at Cattail Crossing Golf Course.
