The Baltic Bulldog track teams had a good day at their home meet on Tuesday, May 6th. The boys team won with 146 points, while the girls team finished second with 129 points.
Maiya Fredrickson won the shot put with a throw of 36’6″ and finished second in the discus with a throw of 111’1″. The 4x400m relay team of Hailey Tiahrt, Clare Berg, Alexis Kehn, and Tenley Witzel won with a time of 4:18.73. Sadey Holt was second in the 3200m run in 13:31.13 and third in the 1600m run at 6:00.77. Daynica Witzel was second in the triple jump (32’9″) and third in the long jump (14’11.25″). The sprint medley relay team of Holly Olson, Berg, Kate Bouman, and T. Witzel was second in 4:44.76. Kehn placed third in the 400m dash with a time of 1:05.27. The 4x800m relay team of Holt, Tiahrt, Meredith Larson, and Elizabeth Hockenberry finished third in 10:56.36.
Cooper Garry won the 800m dash in 2:06.17. The 4x400m relay team of Ben Berg, Ben Erickson, Garry, and Dylan Runestad won in 3:36.60. The 4x800m relay team of Erickson, Jack Wilde, Garry, and Runestad won in a time of 8:43.18. Henry Anderson was second in the 100m dash (:11.40) and second in the 200m dash (:23.75). Berg placed second in the 110m hurdles (:17.08) and second in the 300m hurdles (:44.10). Kellen Artz finished second in the high jump at 5’11”. Braxten Allen was second in the long jump at 19’2″. Gavin Miller placed second in the triple jump with a leap of 39’10.5″. Wilde finished third in the 1600m run (5:28.92) and third in the 3200m run (12:35.26). Trevor Cuperus was third in the shot put with a throw of 42’0.25″. The 4x100m relay team of Allen, Miller, Runestad, and Anderson was second in :45.53. The 4x200m relay team of Berg, Miller, Bryce Campbell, and Artz also took second with a time of 1:38.35.
