Bulldog Track Places Well in Salem

The Baltic Bulldog track team placed well at the Danielson Relays in Salem on Tuesday, April 29th.  The girls team finished second with 89 points.  The boys team had a fourth-place finish with 55 points.

The 4x800m relay team of Sadey Holt, Tenley Witzel, Alexis Kehn, and Hailey Tiahrt won with a time of 10:10.47.  Maiya Fredrickson won the shot put with a throw of 36’10” and finished second in the discus with a throw of 112’11”.  Holt placed second in the 1600m run with a time of 5:55.59 and second in the 3200m run in 13:19.60.  Tiahrt was third in the 400m dash in 1:04.29.  Daynica Witzel finished third in the javelin with a throw of 110’9″.

Henry Anderson finished second in the 200m dash with a time of :23.18.  Cooper Garry was second in the 1600m run in 4:35.09.  The sprint medley relay team of Gavin Miller, Kellan Artz, Jack Wilde, and Ben Erickson placed second in 3:58.60.  Ben Berg took third in the 300m hurdles with a time of :45.28.  Artz finished third in the high jump with a jump of 6’0″.  The 4x200m relay team of Anderson, Braxten Allen, Berg, and Dylan Runestad was third in 1:34.79.
