Baltic Girls Fall in Road Game to St Mary

The St Mary Cardinals rolled past the Baltic Bulldogs at home on Friday, January 24th.  St Mary started the game with a 7-0 run and cruised to a 70-39 victory.

The Cardinals ended the opening quarter with a 24-10 advantage.  They were able to extend their lead in every quarter.  St Mary extended the lead to 41-17 by halftime.  The Cardinals held a 55-30 lead going into the fourth quarter.

Baltic finished the game shooting 30% (13-44) overall, just 3-14 on three-point shots, and 63% (10-16) from the free-throw line.  The St Mary defense forced 28 turnovers and scored 34 points off those turnovers.  St Mary shot 38% (24-64) overall, 28% (8-29) on three-point attempts, and 61% (14-23) from the free-throw line.

Meredith Larson had 14 points, five rebounds, and two steals.  Harper Kortemeyer added 13 points and six rebounds.  Caitlyn Pickett had six points.  Holland Kortemeyer ended with four points and five rebounds.
