The Baltic Bulldogs will have wrestling for the first time as their own team in their athletic program this season. Dwight Montgomery will be the head coach for the new wrestling program.
“We are a new and young team, and with that comes learning curves, but our wrestlers are quick learners and seem to be enjoying the sport. Hopefully by the time regionals roll around, we are taking all the kids to state,” said Montgomery.
Four seniors will be a part of the first Bulldog wrestling program. Jaxon Waggoner will be the lone senior for the boys team. Tabitha Arneson, Emily Nolasco, and Malinda Olson are the seniors for the girls team.
The first tournament of the season will be in Flandreau on Saturday, December 7th.
