Playing in their fourth straight home match, the Baltic Bulldogs hosted the Dell Rapids St Mary Cardinals in volleyball action on Monday, September 30th. After a slow start, the Bulldogs won the match in straight sets by scores of 25-15, 25-14, and 25-13.
The Cardinals started the match with a 2-1 lead. They kept the lead to 7-5. Baltic then went on a 5-1 run to take a 14-9 lead. The Bulldogs stayed in front to 18-13 and then finished the set on a 7-2 run for a 25-15 win. Baltic started fast in the second set and built a 7-1 lead. They extended that lead to 17-8 before winning 25-14. Another fast start in the third set put Baltic in control early. The Bulldogs took an 8-1 lead. They stayed in front by about seven-to-eight points until taking a 20-10 lead. They finished the match with a 25-13 win.
