The Baltic Bulldogs remained perfect on the season after a straight-set match win over the Garretson Blue Dragons at home on Thursday, September 5th.
After a 3-3 tie to start the match, the Bulldogs went on a 6-1 run for a 9-4 lead. They maintained that lead throughout the rest of the set. Baltic had leads of 13-7 and 22-14 before winning 25-14. Garretson started with a 5-1 run in the second set. Baltic tied the score 5-5 and then went ahead 11-7. The Bulldogs extended their lead to 17-10 before winning 25-14.
The third set was a close one. Baltic led 5-3 early and was able to keep a lead of a couple of points. The Bulldogs led 9-6 and 14-12 before extending the lead to 20-16. The Blue Dragons got within a point at 22-21. Garretson stayed within a point at 23-22 and 24-23, but Baltic got the final point for the 25-23 win.
