The Baltic Bulldog volleyball team took part in the Canton Tournament on Saturday, August 31st, and won all four of their matches on the day to improve to 5-0 on the season. The Bulldogs lost only one set all tournament.
In the first match of the day, Baltic took on the Vermillion Tanagers. The Bulldogs had no trouble with the Tanagers winning in straight sets by scores of 25-16 and 25-16. They then faced the Lennox Orioles. The Orioles were the only team to win a set against Baltic. The Bulldogs took the match by scores of 25-21, 21-25, and 25-15.
Moving on to the third set of the day, the Bulldogs defeated West Sioux, IA. They won by scores of 25-11 and 25-19. The Canton C-Hawks were the final opponent of the day for Baltic. The first set needed extra points with Baltic winning 26-24, but the Bulldogs won the second set 25-17.
