The Baltic 16U team traveled to Humboldt to take on West Central on Monday, July 22nd. West Central got the win by a score of 11-1.
Two big innings early in the game helped West Central to the win. Baltic scored a run in the top of the first inning, but it was all West Central after that. They scored five runs in the bottom of the first and four more in the second for a 9-1 lead. Two more runs were scored in the bottom of the fifth to end the game on the 10-run rule.
Jackson Goehring had two hits, one of them a double. Isaac Oakley also had two hits. Braxton Allen finished with a single.
