Tri-Valley scored nine runs in the bottom of the first and went on to defeat Baltic 18-7 on Thursday, July 18th.
After Tri-Valley’s nine-run first inning, Baltic scored a run in the second and one in the third for a 9-2 score. Tri-Valley got those two runs back in the bottom of the third. Baltic added two runs in the top of the fourth to make the score 11-4. Tri-Valley added seven more runs in the bottom of the fourth for an 18-4 score. Baltic scored three more times in the top of the fifth, but the game ended on the 10-run rule.
Zachary Helgeson finished with two hits, one a double, and two RBIs. Braxton Allen also had two hits, including a double. Jackson Goehring and Aaron Nordbye both had one hit each. Kellen Artz and Cale Roach both finished with an RBI.
