Humboldt/Hartford started the top of the seventh with a triple and double, scoring a run to pull within a run, but Baltic/Colton stopped the rally and held for a 7-6 win on Thursday, July 11th.
Baltic/Colton scored the first three runs of the game. They scored one in the bottom of the first and two in the second for a 3-0 lead. Humboldt/Hartford took the lead in the top of the third with five runs. Baltic/Colton got one back in the bottom of the inning for a 5-4 score. They would go back in the lead, 7-5, with three in the bottom of the fifth. The score remained 7-5 until the top of the seventh before Humboldt/Hartford scored a run.
Carter Sorenson had a home run and an RBI. Beau Keith finished with a double and an RBI. Everett Althoff and Nathan Madison both had a single and an RBI. Cody Lofswold finished with a single. Braxton Allen and Beau Breece both had an RBI. Tate Feucht pitched four innings and allowed an earned run on three hits with six strikeouts. Breece threw three innings and allowed five runs, two earned, on six hits and two walks with two strikeouts.
