The Baltic 14U baseball team evened their record to 6-6 on the season with a big 20-7 win over Volga Navy on Tuesday, July 2nd.
Baltic put four runs on the board in the top of the first inning. They added another in the top of the second for a 5-0 lead. Volga got two runs in the bottom of the second and three in the bottom of the third to tie the game 5-5. Baltic responded with a five-run top of the fourth to go back in front 10-5. After Volga scored a run in the bottom of the sixth, Baltic scored 10 times in the top of the seventh. Volga added one more in the bottom of the inning.
Cale Roach finished with two singles and five RBIs. AJ Gruenwaldt had two hits, one a double, and four RBIs. Kaden Rick added two singles and two RBIs. Ben Berg finished with two hits as well as an RBI. Gavin Skotvold had a hit and two RBIs. Brody Hansen, Colten Ronfeldt, Gunner Wilson, and Braeden Breece all had one hit and one RBI each. Braeden Turner added an RBI.
